About Me

By day (and quite a few nights) I run my own boutique software company Sidelab. We’ve got a fair bit going on at the moment, and the cross-platform mobile space is starting to get pretty interesting so that is very cool. As much as I love technology and web applications development, nothing beats coming home to a loving wife and two great kids – all of who seem committed to keeping me on my toes just as much as the ever changing world of technology that we live in.

    I see on amazon that you have a book coming out on web app development for Android and Chrome! I need it now! Do you know of a site that contains a lot of tips and tricks on this subject? Information seems very scattered and incomplete. Just like it was for iPhone/iPad web app development.

    Hey David,

    Yep that’s right :) Regarding a site with a good cross-section of information on that topic, unfortunately no I don’t…

    Depending on what you are wanting to achieve you can pick up one of the iPhone Web App books and apply most of what is described there – just depends on how “cutting edge” an application you are trying to build.
